Sculpture in Context 2009 opened last week in the Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin.
Sculpture in Context was established in 1985 by sculptors whose aim was to work on behalf of fellow sculptors to provide space for exhibiting work of sculptors in venues outside of the normal gallery context.

Artist in Residence programme @ Sculpture in the Parklands
August 31st to September 18th
Artists Julian Wild (UK) and Alan Counihan (Ireland) will work on site for three weeks creating artwork inspired by the rich industrial and environmental heritage of the peatlands.
